Self-Management

Effective self-management can contribute to personal development and to a healthy, fulfilled life. In our fast-paced, performance-oriented working world, resilience in particular is considered a key success factor for effective self-leadership.

Resilience means building and maintaining psychological robustness over the long term in order to respond constructively to acute stress situations as well as longer-term pressure. Participants get to know their personal strengths and resources, develop individual protective factors and work out concrete measures to strengthen their resilience in everyday life. Beyond the individual level, resilience also has an impact on the organisation, as resilient team members contribute to a robust system.

Objectives

  • Recognise the impact of your own mindset and inner attitude on motivation and behaviour
  • Know the possibilities and limits of your own sphere of control and influence
  • Set priorities
  • Reflect on how you deal with demanding situations such as change or conflict
  • Find a constructive way of handling personal expectations as well as success and setbacks
  • Develop an individual guiding principle and formulate concrete professional and personal goals

Target group

  • People with or without leadership responsibility who would like to better understand and develop their personal strengths and protective factors in order to face current and future challenges with resilience.

Challenging phases at work can place demands on employees, but they can also offer opportunities for further development. Instead of being controlled or even dominated by a heavy workload, tight schedules and multiple expectations, employees can learn to reorient their compass. In this training, they learn more about consciously dealing with stressors and how to apply stress management strategies in a targeted way. This enables them to actively shape the challenges of day-to-day work and maintain motivation.

Objectives

  • Actively address pressure and strain in everyday life and expand your personal scope for action
  • Understand how stress works
  • Reflect on how you personally handle pressure and stress
  • Recognise personal triggers and work-related behaviour patterns
  • Know and apply key building blocks of healthy self-leadership
  • Develop an action plan for handling stressful situations

Target group

  • People with or without leadership responsibility who would like to actively address pressure and strain in their day-to-day work, better understand their own response to stress and expand their repertoire of coping strategies.

How We Work

We combine practical content with a high level of interaction and self-reflection. Short theoretical inputs alternate with case examples from day-to-day leadership and working life as well as moderated reflection phases. Participants work both individually and in small groups. We place particular emphasis on a consistent practical focus and realistic applications so that what has been learned can be transferred directly into everyday work.

Programme Formats

Whether a 60-minute expert input, a half-day workshop or a one- to three-day training course – you choose the format that best fits your needs, regardless of the topic.
